THE BEATLES: HORNSEY ROAD

THEATRE TOUR – WITH MARK LEWISOHN


In autumn 2019, Mark Lewisohn presented a one-man stage show that played 25 dates touring British theatres. 

 

Celebrating the golden anniversary of the Beatles’ Abbey Road album, HORNSEY ROAD was a 150 minute entertainment – a one-man lecture illustrated with audio and video and illuminated by Mark’s ad-libbed expertise.

 

The first time an album has been toured by a speaker, the shows were a great success – sold out theatres, enthralled audiences, standing ovations. But despite opening up a new medium, and the numerous enquiries he received, Mark has no plans to tour Hornsey Road in America, Australia or anywhere else – he has now returned his principal focus to working on the second volume of  ALL THESE YEARS.
